Dad’s life was his family, his community and his faith. He worked the family farm until 1977, when his son-in-law Gilbert took over. He then started a hobby farm, with all kinds of poultry, rabbits and his greatest passion being his horses. Dad was a cowboy at heart. He was active in his community: St. Joseph Co-op, Caisse, Knights of Columbus and the St. Joseph Museum. They moved to town in 1998, where he was able to attend mass every day with mom, this was a great joy for him. His family meant everything to him, and he loved to spend time with them, to tease and tell stories of his youth.
Viewing will take place at the St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 1:00pm; the eulogy will be read at 1:30pm with mass at 2:00pm. Interment will take place in the St. Joseph Parish Cemetery.
