We wanted to share our condolences with Helen’s family. It is never easy to have to say goodbye to a loved one. The pain of loss can be unbearable. Our Creator promises us that one day this pain will be just a memory. That beautiful promise can be found at Revelation 21:3,4. Our pain and suffering will be a thing of the past, and we can cry tears of joy as we welcome back the ones that we love so much. We hope you find comfort in those promises.

To Paul and Robert:
It’s more than 38 years now since my dad passed away and Helen became my friend, though she was a great friend to my mom long before then.
She had a knack of showing up at moms door when she was needed, doing what she had to do, and then going back home across the road. I do not remember her ever wanting recongnition or thanks, though she deserved so much of it, from me and others in my family. She was just there when she was needed. I was able to visit her now and then during my trips back to Morris, though not as often as I should have of course. I will always remember her as one of the truly decent people I have ever met.
Thank you Helen, it was great to know you

Our condolences to the family. From Shane and Margaret
I first met Helen when I started working at the hospital in 1976.
She was so kind. She helped me so much as I was very young and inexperienced.
I could always count on her to come in and give me a hand when I needed her expertise. The fact that she lived just across the street was such a comfort to this new nurse.
I can’t begin to say how many ambulance transfers she went on.
When I retired, I planned on working on a casual basis. She gave some wise advice then, too!
“Don’t work too much. Enjoy your retirement!”
Loved this lady!
She is a very special angel!

My sincerest sympathies to Robert and the rest of the family on the passing of your sweet mother. I have many fond memories growing up down the street and being in your home. Whenever I met her on the street she had a quiet smile and greeting for me. In recent years, she phoned me to tell me of some memory she had when your family invited me to join you at the fair or to offer congratulations or wishes for some celebration which was occurring in our family. May all these memories sustain you as your celebrate her life.
