Verna just loved our family. She felt such a part of it because she participated in many of our family get-togethers. Rev Jack Ballantyne-Dickson was very kind to her & attentive to her needs but could not always tend to those needs. During the times in recent years when I lived at Mom's (Kathleen Jorgenson) at Ste. Elizabeth Rev Jack would bring Verna out to visit Mom & have tea, snacks & a visit. I got to know Verna as she often needed a ride to appointments & I would pick her up & off we would go on another adventure. She had appointments in Wpg or Winkler so we would most often stop for a meal during our time together. We went to Wpg to see one of her great-grandchildren; also to Dominion City for a baby shower. She expressed her love so often & treasured the times she attended Morris events & gained a lot of attention. Her ailments were upper-most in her mind but now she is free of all those aches & pains. May she rest in PEACE. Condelences from Bonnie.

She was a good friend of ours. I remember having a good visit with her at Christmas time. She would invite us to the Manor Christmas Banquet as her guests
She will be missed
Our prayers with you
