Obituary of Roland Joseph Marion

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our father, Roland Marion, on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Morris General Hospital at the age of 93 years.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife Alice in 1991 and Lilian in 2009, as well as seven sisters and two brothers.

Dad will be fondly remembered by his five daughters and one son and their families: Suzanne (Harry), Jocelyne (Will), Ginette (Daniel), Gilbert (Jackie), Carole (Don) and Rachelle (Marcel).

Pépèr will live on in the hearts of 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, four sisters and his loyal companion, Alice Fortier.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at the St. Jean-Baptiste Catholic Church.  Viewing will start at 3:30pm, followed by the eulogy at 4:00pm.  Mass will start at 4:30pm with a reception to follow at the St. Jean Centennial Hall.

The family wishes to thank all who have prayed and supported us.  In Roland’s memory, donations may be made to preserve our beautiful St. Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church.
