My condolences to all of Elmer's family. I really appreciate the Friesen family, everyone. Elmer was a good friend of my father, and was very kind to me. Growing up without a father (he too past due to cancer) when I was age 12, I had many many people that I looked up to as a father figure who guided me through life. Elmer had been one of those individuals, likely he never knew. I now wish he did. I loved this man. I do love all the Friesen family. News of Elmer's just reached to me today as I reside in Porland Oregon. Thank you for sharing the celebration of his life.
