Garry Friesen

Obituary of Garry Friesen

Garry passed awayat the young age of 66, February 21, 2019.  He is predeceased by his mother, Anna Friesen (Harder), and brother Archie Friesen, he is survived by his sister Bernice Milne (Tom), brother, Melvin Friesen, his children Jennel and Dustin Friesen, his five grandchildren Émilie, Luca and NalaTrémorin and Keenan and Bronson Friesen and nieces and nephews.

Garry was the epidemy of a hard worker. For over a decade he successfully owned and operated his own business hauling straw bales to the States and farm equipment as a backhaul. His customers revered him with the utmost friendship and respect. He took such pride and ownership of his work. Garry was very handy and built his home in Letellier and helped his children with many home related projects. In his down time, he loved to golf, garden and sit and joke with his buddies. Those who knew him best, knew he loved to joke and razz those around him. He had such a great laugh and sense of humor. Garry strived to give his children a better childhood, teach them respect and a strong work ethic; to which he succeeded. He, unfortunately struggled his entire adult life with alcoholism.

Rest in peace Dad, you will be sadly missed.
