I have terrific memories of Veronica in Newton Junior Secondary in Surrey where I taught her and worked with her in the many extra-curricular events we enjoyed. Veronica was captain of Black Power house, an interesting name considering her future last name. I have strong memories of a terrific, energetic girl in her young teens, a good student, a good athlete, and a terrific energetic spirit. These many years later I still think of her from time to time.

My dear Auntie Ronnie, I miss you so much. You had a special way of making people feel loved and accepted, facing the world with courage and joy in your heart. Your laugh was contagious and you always knew how to make things better. I’m a better person for having had you in my life. Thank you for everything.
My dear Uncle Michael, I’m so sorry for your profound loss, and I’m sorry that I can’t be there to tell you so in person. My heart is breaking for you because I know what it feels like to have it torn right out of your chest. I love you so much, and I’m sending all my love and thoughts and hugs your way.
To the rest of my family, I love and miss you all. And even though we don’t talk very often, I want you to know that you are always in my thoughts.

Day by day Veronica made the choice to be cheerful and that made us cheerful. She was a wonderful example of “living “life to the very end. My sympathy to you Michael and the family. May the Lord be with you all. Pat Manness

I knew Veronica through the ladies Bible Study group. We all loved Veronica , and we always looked forward to her coming to join us . She was full of sincere smiles , fun loving , laughter , joy in being around people , and she loved to talk and share with each one of us . My husband and I really looked forward to seeing her in the Domain Hall dramas each year ! She added so much to each play ! Her faith in God and her love for God was sincere ! Rest In Peace , our dear friend

My condolences to Michael,Josh and Jessica on the loss of their beautifull wife and mother. Ronnie left an indelible mark on all those blessed to have been touched by her kindness and « Joi de vivre « Personally Ronnie’s magnificent spirit was no more evident than over the last 4 years where she help me navigate my own losses and showed me the way to acceptance and a certain modicum of peace... I will always treasure my memories ( attending midnights mass with her one beautiful star lit Christmas night and watching her face glow with love and pride as she experienced her choir celebrate their shared love of music and grace in a lovely little Church in Domain... a truly magical night with it a truly magical woman . Rest In Peace beautiful Veronica Love Christine
