Obituary of Maria Blatz

Following a lengthy illness Maria Blatz passed away June 5, 2021 at the Red River Valley Lodge. She is survived by her husband George; one daughter: Susan (Mike), five sons: John (Mary-Ann), Pete (Tina), Benjamin (Nettie), George (Mary), and Neil (Stephanie); two brothers and two sisters. She will also be greatly missed by her many grandchildren. She was predeceased by one sister and three brothers. Maria loved sewing, knitting, and cross stitching. She loved going to church and worship. She loved praying for family. Public viewing will be held at Morris Funeral Home, June 6 & 7, from 12:00pm to 8:00pm. Following current covid guidelines only one person may enter the funeral home at a time. A private family service will be held June 9, 2021 at 10:30 am at Morris Funeral Home. A video of the service will be made available from a link (when available) below. The family wishes to thank Red River Valley Lodge and the nursing staff for all the wonderful work and dedication.
