Sending condolences to the entire family. Don was an exceptional person, and we are so pleased for the friendship he extended each time we came to town. Like Shannon’s son said…he was a true cowboy. This photo best epitomizes how I will remember Don.
Respectfully,

Don Harder served the RM of Morris for 20 years and provided our community with a level of expertise that council and residents and businesses valued and respected. His dedication to the job was remarkable. You always knew Don would be on the road very early during extreme weather events evaluating the work responsibilities for the day. Major projects such as - Sperling Sewer and Water, Lowe Farm paving, Industrial parks in Rosenort and Lowe Farm, and the RM of Morris potable water project which now provides water to 97% of all homes and businesses in the RM of Morris. We could simply not have completed these projects without Don's expert guidance. We will always remember the many contributions of Don Harder to our community. Thanks Don!
Patti and I are also thankful for the working relationship we had with Don when we were involved with the Valley Agricultural Society. We are ever so grateful for Don's many contributions to the Manitoba Stampede. His quiet manner and gentle sense of humour and his strong and conscientious work ethic will always be remembered both as a volunteer and as Stampede competitor.
We are thankful for the many committed hours of excitement and entertainment he provided Stampede fans.
Ride that chariot home Don! Your entry fees are paid.
Our sincere thoughts are with Shannon and all family members and friends.

Sincere condolences to all of the family! I really appreciated Don when he worked for us at the RM of Morris, so knowledgeable and putting in countless hours every week! For instance, we never would have put in our own rural water to every resident without his expertise! Hard work started early in life for Don and I can well remember when I was in high school, he and some of his siblings helped their dad wth the janitorial work every day after school! Our sympathies and prayers! Sieg and Wendi Neumann!
