I only met Ma-mere once but she welcomed me into her home as if I've known her for years. She will always have a special place in my heart as the grandmother I always wanted. I will truly miss her. My thoughts will be with all of you on Thursday, as you celebrate Lucille's life.
I remember the stories Susan would tell of the wonderful camping times with Roger's parents, and the skill in setting up camp, the games, and the fantastic cooking that Andrew and I were privileged to experience one summer at West Hawk, camping with the Chartier gang!
The brief times that I saw Lucille, she really did exude a true "joie de vivre" !
You were all so blessed to have this wonderful woman in your lives.
