I met Martha and Lou at the Lodge one day and they were such kind, gentle people, I was never to forget them, to this day. Although Martha grieved after Lou died, she had a great amount of 'spunk', such that I was surprised to learn her age after we'd walked together several times. She was, at the time, I believe, 87.
