We were shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Ron’s recent passing. I have known Ron as a cousin all my life but he also became a good friend as we entered adulthood. I have many fond memories of Ron through our days playing fastball together in Lowe Farm as well as sharing an apartment with him in Winnipeg for a couple of years. He had a quirky sense of humour and an unmistakable laugh that he exercised often. More importantly though, Ron was a man of integrity - a real stand-up guy.
Unfortunately, we are unable to attend the funeral but want to extend our heartfelt condolences to the family. Ron was one of the good ones.

Ron was a friend and neighbour. He often spoke fondly about his boys and their fishing trips to the cabin. We will always remember him as the best neighbour ever. He was always willing to lend a hand when needed. We enjoyed his humour and sharing a beverage with him. Our condolences to all he loved.
