When I would come home to Manitoba to visit family, I would always try to visit Aunt Lena also. She was always so happy to have us over and we just loved listening to her tell us stories. What an awesome story teller! It will seem a little strange to go to Morris and not be able to spend time with her. She will be missed but not forgotten.

Mrs. Enns was such a beautiful and delightful soul. I have countless fond memories of her from my time as pastor of Emmanuel Baptist. I spent many occasions visiting her at home and laughing non-stop. She was the most amazing story teller. One of my favourites from her was about how she always wanted a yellow race car for her 90th birthday. And then when she turned 90 she got one! A toy race car gifted to her by a granddaughter (if I remember right). Mrs. Enns was a gift. And as a fellow Mennonite we bonded over a shared understanding of what our history meant to us. I loved to listen to her talk about her late son and her husband. Both of whom I never got the joy to meet.
Much love to Mrs. Enns’ family.

Aunt Helen was always such a pleasure to visit with. She would alway take out the cookies and coffee and had so many interesting stories about her early life. We are going to miss her but our awesome memories of her will always be with us!!
RIP Aunt Helen.

No one could tell a story better than Helen…and without notes! We enjoyed so many of her retellings at church functions. She often complimented me on a piece of music I played on the piano. She was such a good friend and church pew mate to our mom Ruth Schroeder. She will be truly missed for her lovely smile, cheery spirit and love of Jesus. Our condolences and prayers to her family. Her memory makes us smile!
