Obituary of John Arthur Izzard
Following a long hard fought battle with Cancer, John passed away peacefully on February 21, 2023 at home in St. Malo, Manitoba with his family by his side at the age of 73 years old.
John is survived by his wife Jennifer, daughter Vicki Lafrance and her husband Daniel, his son Jeff Izzard and his wife Tanya as well as his 4 grandsons Darian, Kaiden, Alexander and Austin. He is also survived by his 4 brothers and many nieces and nephews.
John is predeceased by his father Royce Izzard, his mother Valerie Izzard, sister Dolores Izzard, and sister Fay Hudson.
Throughout John’s life he enjoyed going hunting, fishing, coaching soccer and little league baseball and volunteering within the community. He also loved spending time with his wife, kids and grandkids. John always knew how make light of any situation and put a smile on everyone’s face with corny dad jokes that always made us laugh. He had the kindest soul and he always treated people with kindness and respect whether he knew you or not.
This is not a goodbye John, it is till we see you again!
John will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held Monday March 6th, 2023 at 12 P.M at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 215 at 215 Maxwell King Drive located off of Henderson Highway at the Perimeter.
The family wishes to thank Cancer Care and Pallative Care in the Southern Health district.
