Obituary of Darren Tweedie

Darren Alexander Tweedie passed away after a lengthy illness peacefully at the Red River Valley Lodge in Morris Manitoba. Darren was survived by his sisters Cheryl Lazenby (Tony), her daughter Bobbie Leah (Jeff), nephew Kyle (Allysin), great niece Kemper, Niece Jade (DJ), great nephew Milo, Sister Glennis (Ghislain), niece Karly great niece Breyonna, Nephew Cory(Stephanie), great niece Emily, Aunt Arlene Nolan, cousins Micheal & Lisa, Uncle George Monkhouse, cousins Brian, Karen, Cheryl, and Lori. Mark and Leslie Ashley (Ryan) Ryder and Daxton; Ryan, and so many other family and friends. Darren was predeceased by his parents Ray and Joyce Tweedie. Darren's favorite thing in life was music, he would always say" it's good for the soul". It could get you through anything! He also enjoyed things such as fishing, eating, football, hockey, car racing, bowling, string art, and collaging. He was the most giving sweet man that anyone could know. And wow his hugs would give you a sure back cracking squeeze. He has touched many hearts and will be missed. A Celebration of Life will take place at the Parc Carillon (545 Av. Hebert, St Pierre-Jolys), Sunday, August 6, 2023 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. We would like to thank all the staff at Red River Valley Lodge, Dr. Borys, Movement Disorder Clinic, staff at the Huntingtons Society. Also a special thanks the Karly Nowell for being Darren's care giver. And to all the other friends and family for their support. In Darren's memory donations can be made to the Huntingtons Society and Winnipeg Humane Society.
