My deepest sympathies to the whole family. Joan always made me laugh. The sillier version of my mom. Mom often shared tales of their growing up and it was wonderful to hear what happy times they had in Manitoba. I will cherish fun memories with Joan and again my thoughts are with you all. Lots of love William in Vancouver

Our condolences to Uncle Glen, Brian, Bridgette, Cindy, Glen Jr and their families on the passing of Aunt Joan. She was a generous and special woman. She let us use her beautiful home for pre wedding preparations and pictures, and always had something funny to say!

We have so many good memories of times with Joan, from just visiting to shopping (went to so many stores one night, we couldn't remember where we parked and had to wait till people left so we could see her car) and just having fun.
She always had a pair of scissors close so when David came around, she could pretend she was going to cut his long hair. We are thinking of all of you and send our heartfelt condolences and love.

I remember playing cards with the Simpson family. My favourite memory is that she came to my singing competition when my family could not come. She was a dear person with a big heart. She will be greatly missed.
Until we meet again Yvonne

Dear Joan. We will miss you with all our hearts. Your jokes will be remembered along with your smile as your smile came from your eyes and lit up a room. Am so glad you got to meet Debby. When we think of you it is always with love and happiness. Love, Scott and Debby Simpson.

I am so sorry for your loss. She was always so much fun and her smile was unforgettable. I always had so much fun staying over when I was a teenager. Her practical jokes were unforgettable and so was she. Loved garage sailing with her. Always in my heart. Kathy
