These days since Cam's passing are a part of a world where none of us thought we'd be. And I am so sorry for this imeasurable loss for your family. I met Kailyn right after she was born and came (with Debbie) to stay at Giselle's (in Winnipeg) for a few days during the flood. Cam would go between his time with his girls (in Winnipeg) to check on the house while waiting for the waters to recede. He gave me some of his unbelievable photos from that adventure and I will always treasure them.
He and Debbie invited me to join them one day on a trip across the border to have a little shop and supper at a Mexican restaurant (I think). It was a surprisingly quick trip that I had never done but I heard it was a somewhat regular family trip (that he took) over the years. As we drove back (that day) I especially loved my chat with Kailyn when she told me about her singing in church. I think she may have been 4 or 5 years old at the time.
Then one day when Cam was delivering a trailer load in northern Alberta, he remembered that I was living in the region so he got in touch with me out of the blue; it was a few years back. We met for breakfast in Girouxville, AB and had a great little visit. He made my year as he was the first person from Manitoba who made time for a visit since I moved up there.
I admired his confidence and his kind inquisitiveness that made every conversation an enjoyable journey. I saw from your family photo montage that he continued on many trips to explore the world and was a blessed man in so many ways; he had a lovely wife (& partner), he raised children, enjoyed grand children, created a home to lay his head and gorgeous yard to keep his hands busy. These things made him a very rich man whom I can guess was proud of his family and thankful for all the other stuff. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. My heart breaks for you most, Debbie, and you are in my thoughts.

The summer I met Cam me and him clicked, we became instant friends, didn’t see him much unless he had a shale job and he’d be in and out of the pit and we’d get caught up with our visits during those times, I’m saddened by this news, hadn’t got to see him yet this year and was looking forward to one of his texts saying he’s coming for a couple loads, no problem Cam, Jesus will load you from now on, I’ll wait and load you again my friend. Condolences to you Debbie and family

Debbie and family, please accept my sincerest condolences. I was devastated to hear of Cam's passing. We hurt with you, we pray for you.
I have many great memories of working with Cam and most involve laughter. Specifically, hauling to highway 75 in 2016 when Cam purchased his side dump. Every day was an adventure and the radio chatter kept us going.
Many of our conversations revolved around family leaving no doubt that he truly loved you Debbie, & his children.
He will be missed....
