Obituary of Joanne Ruth Pankiw

Joanne Ruth Pankiw, 68, of Morris Manitoba, passed away March 10, 2017 in Morris Manitoba. A private funeral service will be held at Morris Funeral Home on March 25 at 2:00 pm. Joanne was brought in to this world on September 20, 1948 in Whitehorse, Yukon. She moved to Nelson, British Columbia at the age of 8; remained there until the age of 13, then moving to Fort Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan at the age of 18, and afterwards leaving for Regina, Saskatchewan. She met her Husband Gerald in Winnipeg in 1972, and they settled in Morris, Manitoba in 1973. Joanne is preceded in death by her mother Margaret Bovair, her brother Harry Davis, and her loving husband Gerald Pankiw. Joanne is survived by her son Troy Pankiw (Marnie), her daughter Patricia Pankiw, and grandchildren Kayla, Jordan, Brandon, Tanner, and Alisha. With so many friends and loved ones to list, Joanne will be forever missed.
