It has been a long, long time since I saw Brenda but I have great memories of a sweet gentle voice. The Anderson's lived down the street from Grandma and Grandpa Ferris' and somehow remember us kids in bathing suits. That was like a million years ago but good memories. I send my love and virtual hugs to all.

I have so many memories of Brenda, but the thing that stands out for me (other than those absolutely gorgeous blue eyes of hers) is her laugh. Especially when laughing at herself over some silly thing she'd said, or done. The tears would just roll down her face as she would try to compose herself, more often than not, unsuccessfully. I told her many times that even though she'd been away from our school for years, if she walked in one morning, grabbed a coffee and sat in her chair at the end of the table, no one would even bat an eye, because that's where she belonged. She brought so much joy into that building and into the lives of students and staff alike, and I was so honored to call her my friend. Rest easy, beautiful lady

This is how I will remember Brenda, giggling with her pressed Gibson drink and enjoying herself! I will always be grateful for how welcoming she was when I joined the Anderson family and how we all looked forward to our visits all we did was laugh.
