Obituary of Brenda Joan Recksiedler

Brenda Recksiedler (nee Anderson) passed away peacefully with family by her side on September 2, 2020 at the age of 58. She will be lovingly missed by her husband Brian, brother Paul (Sherri), sister Lisa (Dean), daughter Kirsten (Frank), son Braydon (Bridgette) and her four grandchildren: Cohen, Codie, Ashton and Zoe.\ She was predeceased by her parents Otto and Joan Anderson and sister Janis. Brenda was born on October 26, 1961 and grew up in Sperling, Manitoba. She met the love of her life, Brian, in 1984 and they got married December 31, 1986. Brenda worked as an EA at the Morris School for over 30 years and took much joy in working with children. She loved spending her time gardening and perfecting her yard and anyone that would walk in it would know she had a natural green thumb. She had a love for playing baseball, golf and curling. Brenda spent many hours volunteering within her community especially during the Manitoba Stampede and for the Morris Curling Club. She was quite crafty and had an eye for detail; she could turn anything into a beautiful art piece. Her love for her family was undeniable and her grandchildren were her world. She will always be admired by her positive attitude towards life and the ability to get past any obstacle that got in her way. Her beautiful smile could light up any room and her strong spirit and love for others will be missed by all who had the privilege to know her. A private celebration of life will be held with burial at the Morris Cemetery. We would like to thank Dr. Fraser and the nursing staff at the Morris Hospital for their kindness and care they gave during Brenda’s last few weeks of life.
