Alice was one of a kind and unforgettable ….so generous of heart and spirit. She welcomed us to Morris with open arms back in 1974, when my husband was the new “cop on the block”, and no-one could match that infectious smile or her “Butterfly” moves on the dance floor. Bless your sweet heart dear lady….our most sincere condolences to her family. There’s a heck of a raucous bingo game going on in Heaven tonight! XO Rob& Patti McKay

Alice presented as a big, rough, tough gal - but she was such a softie. An RCMP friend once said she was the only woman he said 'Yes Ma'am' to...........she laid down the law with the bikers at the Stampede - and they listened! But at the same time, she cried while watching her soap operas, cried if she hadn't seen you in a while or if you gave her a hug or a gift. A heart of gold has stopped beating. She has earned her Angel Wings.
- rest peacefully, my friend - always loved and forever missed

I first met Alice and Frank in 1974, RCMP Morris was my first posting out of training. Frank and I would hang out at the Mid Town Shell drinking pop, watching the world go by and solving the world’s problems. As I was living in Barracks I’d often grab a meal at the restaurant where Alice was working north of town. She’d emerge from the kitchen with a plate piled high, “Eat this and don’t waste anything!!” She was looking after me like my own Mum would. Fast forward 30 years and I was in hospital recovering from major surgery when who drops in for a visit but Alice. The word was ‘Get better or else, don’t make me come back!!’ I did as I was told. She was one of the world’s great sweethearts. Condolences to the Family, take comfort in knowing your parents have been reunited. God bless Alice and Frank. Paul McKimmie and family

I first met Alice and Frank in 1978 during my three year stint in Morris with the RCMP. They both had personalities larger than life. Alice with her warm and friendly smile. We were always welcomed in for a coffee, snack and conversation. She was an ambassador of good will in the community. Alice you will be missed and I am so glad to have known you. Rest In Peace.

I remember Alice quite well during my tour with the RCMP in Morris 1974-79. My three girls were good friends with Alice’s family. I certainly missed Frank when he left us but Alice was so loved in all the time that I knew and respected her especially when she cooked at the Legion during the flood of 1979. Alice we will miss you but you are now with Frank and we will meet up with you again one day. My condolences to her extended family.
