On behalf of my mother Shirl and my siblings, Carrie and Clint, I'd like to thank you all for your condolences. Mom was a wonderful woman who lead with her heart in all things. There have been consistent mentions of her smile and kindness over the past few days and it's understandable to all who knew her as to why. It was impossible not to be happy when she was and Mom had so much laughter and joy to share.
We'd also like to thank Cory for his understanding and hard work as we tried to navigate this difficult time in our lives. You helped us honour her to the best of our abilities and that would not have been possible without you. You never really knew our mom and she didn't really know you but I wouldn't hesitate to say she is proud of the work of did on her behalf.
We love you Mom and we'll never stop striving to follow your example and be kind.
