Memories of visiting your home include Mrs. Blunt teaching me how to always loose at Chinese checkers (and later teaching my wife to play so I could keep my loosing streak going!), eating "pension cookies", and working on anything with a motor. I remember when he took the time to work on my 4H lawnmower project with me. I remember how easily he laughed and how welcoming their home was. I haven't seen him for several years, as we haven't been local to the area for some time, but I will never forget the love and friendship found in that home. I do smile at the reunion you are having with your bride. To those left behind, my condolences. He will be lovingly missed by many.

My heartfelt condolences to the Blunt Family, which by marriage we were related, Claire married my uncle, Norm Conway. My parents Norma and Bill Fowler, I think knew the Blunts before I was born on Bowman St., back in the day. So sorry for your loss, RIP Wilfred.

My sweet grandfather. His smile truly says it all. As a granddaughter, and city child, coming to my grandparents house on weekends truly felt like a breath of freedom. Climbing trees, getting grass stains… but mostly the welcoming hugs and smiles. Their house was busy with lots of visitors and playful banter. With many grandchildren, there was lots of mischief and silly pranks played on my grandpa….but he was always such a great sport about them and just chuckled.
Rest in peace with your sweetheart.
We will meet again one day.
