When we were young, I thought Jake and Susie were twins because they looked kinda similar and were in the same grade. I remember his constant smile and upbeat attitude and just all around nice guy. My condolences to Allison and Shaun and the Wall family.

I knew Jake growing up as a teen in the Rosenort/Morris community. He was always joyful and very kind. Last summer my family and I met him at St Malo campground while we were struggling to back our camper into a tight campsite. Jake hopped into our vehicle and helped guide the camper into our spot. We had a nice chat at that time, and he mentioned knowing he was not long for this world. I am so sorry to hear that he’s gone. Much love to his entire family and friends. No doubt he will be deeply missed.

I will always remember Jake for his easy approach, soft voice, caring and kind nature. We have only known Jake a short 8 years when I met his wife Alison at mommy group in town. Our kids hit it off and we continued to visit and have the kids have a playdate throughout the years. We will miss him and your light will live on in Shaun.

My thoughts are with Jake's family, I was a boy who was oart of the same family circles, Jake was great friends growing up with my older cousin Abe, there was a circle of boys about five who spent all sorts of time together.
