Our condolences to you all. I always enjoyed having John at an auction. Be it the cattle sale or a farm auction. He will always be buyer # 175. OK Jeff inherited that #.
He will be missed.

Our deepest condolences to the entire family. I knew Johnny for many years growing up in the community of Morris. I have a lot of great memories of Muskrat Johnny as he was known. At a young age I had a lot of great memories of duck, goose and deer hunting with Johnny and friends. You could always count on Johnny for a lot of laughs. One particular story really stands out in my mind. We were at the marsh river ,at St Elizabeth, and a flock of geese flew over Johnny and he didn't shoot .So when I approached him I asked him "why didn't you shoot?" He replied, I was loading my gun and stuck a roll of life savers in the barrel ,Boy did we laugh!!!There are a lot of stories over 20 plus years of hunting with him, and I want to say he was a joy to be around. A great family man .a wonderful friend to many. He will be missed. Thanks for the memories Johnny, rest in peace my friend. Roland and Darlene Renaud

Johnny was a great, old school neighbor. A most infectious smile indeed, with a sincere question.."how are you?", and he meant it from the bottom of his heart. He cared about the folks he knew, and about the folks he just casually knew. As I said, Johnny was old school, and those beautiful, wonderful people are becoming more rare. I will miss him, as will the many people he touched, even in a small way. We were all blessed to know him. God speed, Johnny.

We were shocked to hear of the passing of Johnny. We will miss seeing him at the Lodge where he was a wonderful meal companion for our dad. His positive outlook on life was so appreciated at the coffee shop or wherever you met him. We are sorry to miss his funeral but want to send our heartfelt sympathies and prayers. May God grant you peace and comfort as you celebrate his life.
